Literacy Week: Readers from the Community
We were very lucky to have 3 guest readers in our classroom. All of our readers shared wonderful books that were in some way special to them. It was so nice to have members of our community come and celebrate literacy week with us. Below you will see pictures of our fabulous guests Max White and Julie Suggs. With great regret, I did not get pictures of our 3rd reader Melissa Boyd. We really appreciated each and every one of our readers. Thank you!

Rock Detectives
In Science we have been learning about the earth's surface. We know that rocks are part of the earth's surface and we now know that there are many different types of rocks. Below you will see our class being rock detectives. Taking a closer look at various rocks we noticed they look and feel different.
