Book Study

Recently Mrs. Odom and Mrs. Cooper's enrichment group participated in a book study. The students read "Freckle Juice" and "The One in the Middle is the Green Kangaroo" by Judy Blume. As a culminating activity the students completed a writing assignment and created a diorama to represent their favorite part. They turned out wonderful. So creative!

Voting

With the upcoming election we decided to participate in our own voting activities. The students listened to two books, "Duck for president" and "Teacher for President". Then we voted for who we thought would make the best president. Duck or teacher?

Look at our results. Teacher won the vote!
Then the students imagined what the world would be like if they were president. They had some creative ideas. School at the beach and hot dogs every Saturday sounds good to me!

Fun Fall rotations

Check out some of the fun fall activities we participated in before the book character dance.
