Welcome to Mrs. Coleman's page!  I am very excited to share a little bit about myself through this blog. I hope that it is easy to navigate and you find it helpful.   

My name is Patty Coleman.  I have been teaching first grade at Joyce Bullock Elementary for 7 years.  I have taught in Bronson, Crestview and also a year in Texas.  I live with my husband and son right outside of Williston.  I grew up in Williston and graduated from Williston High School.  My family loves to go out in the boat, cookout, camp and go on vacations.

  

I love teaching first grade and I am always amazed at the progress my students make in one short year.  I strive to meet each students needs by changing my teaching styles based on what the students need.  Education is a constantly changing profession and I am lucky enough to teach at a school with teachers and adminstrators who embrace those changes.

Our class at the Lowry Park Zoo.

What a day!  We arrived at school bright and early and boarded fancy charter buses (no big yellow buses for us) and headed to the Lowry Park Zoo.  The weather was beautiful and we saw lots of animals and did many other fun things.
