My family: Casey, Me, my Mom & Jake
Hi! My
name is Miss Woods and I am SO excited to be teaching on the first
grade team! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It's
going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I
can't wait to see what great things this year has in store for us. I
want to know ALL about YOU, but first I'm going to tell you a few things
about me.
I
was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and I am the oldest of
THREE! I have two younger brothers, Jake and Casey. I love them DEARLY. I
attended the University of Florida.... GO GATORS! There, I majored in
Special Education and received my Masters of Education in Early
Childhood Education. I am also certified to teach students who have learning exceptionalities and those who speak other languages.
Every day for me is a learning adventure, and I want to instill a love of learning to every student. Through hands on experiences and collaborative learning activities, every student will be given the opportunity to learn through their specific learning style.
