We are so excited that we had one of our Flat Stanley's returned to us from my Mimi's house in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was dressed in hiking gear from an exciting trip to the mountains. He also brought with him some rock samples, a poster of the minerals found there, and lots of pictures! We learned that the climate there is not much different from here, except that it gets cold enough to snow there!
