We cannot believe it is time for our big trip to the zoo!  Today, our students read a book about some of the things that they were most looking forward to about the zoo.  After reading and discussing, we did some writing that involved using the "Four Square Method."  The students had to fill in a square with three details and a conclusion sentence.  Some students got ahead of us and even put their writings in paragraph form!  Here are a few examples of some of their exemplary writing:

Sarah hopes to pet a giraffe, and see sea creatures!

Ashlee can't wait to buy a souvenir and hear a lion roar!
